It was very clean, everyone was friendly. The bed was comfortable, and there were climate control, a private safe and a work desk too.

The room was comfortable.
The television cable connection was not working for the entire hotel. We verified this with the nice young man and another guest. So, we walked to a nearby restaurant to watch the football playoff game of my husband's alma mater.

The breakfast was great!
We booked a king size suite when we got there we was told all the had was double bed rooms. She finally found a king size suite and said she would upgrade us.....hmm mmmmmm isn't that what we booked originally? The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. We have stayed at many Holiday Inns all over the U.S this one was the worst by far....never again!! We will book someplace else!!

Floor needed to be vacuumed and furniture was very dusty. Seemed to need some refurbishing as furniture was scratched and worn.

The location was close to Townsend, Maryville, Alcoa and Knoxville. Just a quick drive to any of those communities and easy to find! The staff was polite and helpful. The pool was great and the room was, too! I loved the super super soft pillows!
The mattress wasn't the most comfortable I've ever slept on at a hotel, though I still slept great. Also, on two of the days, they were mopping the floor in the check-in/entrance area as I was leaving for the day (around 10:30 am) and it was kind of slick. You would think they would save that for a less traffic-y part of the day so that guests wouldn't have to walk across the wet floor.

good location for us
Room was less than satisfactory-torn black out shades, wet carpet from a leak and wifi connection was poor or non-existent. They did not have the size bed promised on the reservation and blamed Booked.net for the failure to communicate. We had no option but to accept what they offered due to high traffic in the area.

Pool was nice and heated
Front desk employees smelled like cigarettes. Also booked double beds but they only had a single king available.
